My passion is liberal arts.
I discovered the arts early in my life, but my passion developed this year as a freshmen. The reason for that is, I never had an art class before this year. Now, I understand the meaning of art and what it represents. Furthermore, art and writing is so free flowing that it could be anything at all, so it is sort of like my personality. To add on, since I found out how art works from my art teacher, she showed me how easy it could be and you really do not need to have much experience to begin. Since I discovered it, I have been so diligent to make everything I create and write unique.
Paulo is the perfect candidate for the San Jose Area Writing Project Teen Institute because he is curious, confident, passionate and driven. Because Paulo's community is under-served, an opportunity to step outside of his 'normal' and discover an artistic community outside of his typical experience could change the trajectory of his life in the most beautiful ways.
Almost a week from today my creative writing program at San Jose State has ended. While I am still heart broken about its end, because the program has given me clarity for my future career, a writer. Writing is now an outlet for my creativity mind. My idea for my future has been morfied because of your contributions. As I finally have an understanding of me because of you.

The privilege of being able to attend this program that is the San Jose State Creative writing program is a blessing, that has only been possible by the support that has been received. Also, the opportunity that is this program, is challenge that I have been waiting for, something that will give me a new and more advanced skills in this field. Finally, this chance will not go to waste, I'm striving to do my best and have fun while doing it.
This summer I am attending the San Jose State Creative Writing Program, which I am hoping will give me a new and more profound writing style. Moreover, this opportunity that has been granted to me will not go to waste, I'm going to use all my willpower to learn as much as I can from this program. Which has been possible by you the amazing donor and your care for every Wishbone student.
