My passion is leadership.
I have always loved the idea of being a leader. When I was smaller, I was always eager to be the line-leader of the class. Looking back, it was just another milestone that lead to my passion for leadership. Little by little, I became more confident with my leadership skills, which eventually led to me becoming captain of my sports teams. I deeply know that my passion is indeed to be a leader and I pursue this goal every day.
Zitlalli is a committed student-athlete. Sports take up a sizable amount of Zitlalli's time, but she remains committed to the College Track community. This year, Zitlalli's Volleyball team made it to playoffs, which required more practice time and the commitment to more games. This also conflicted with her scheduled workshops at College Track. Instead of simply missing her workshops, Zitlalli informed staff in advance and sought out opportunities to make-up her sessions. She attended every available make-up opportunity to ensure she met the College Track attendance requirement for the semester.
