Lisette's Story

My passion is helping others.

I discovered this passion when I saw my mom help my sick aunt even though she was going through a lot during that time. She said, “People need more help than me. Helping others helps with my hard times and helps me feel great with life.” There is so much going on in society and you don’t see people being considerate to each other. One step towards having a better generation and society is to have the ability to help and support each other.

In the future I see myself being a medical examiner or a doctor. This career is a very challenging and will require leadership skills attending the National Teen Leadership Program will help me explore my passion for helping people and becoming a great leader.
