Paola's Story

My passion is volleyball.

I have always loved sports. In the 4th grade, I decided that I wanted to try volleyball. The second I set foot on the court, I knew that this was something I wanted to do. It was the same feeling I got when I got thrown into the air for the first time in cheer and like the first time I made a goal in soccer. Being on the court helps me find myself and holding the ball gives me a rush that I can not describe. I've continued to pursue my passion by joining my high school volleyball team my sophomore year after realizing that I missed the sensation I felt when I am face to face with my opponent ready to hit the ball with excitement.

Paola is a good candidate for the US Sports Nike Volleyball Camps because she is very coachable. She is a ambitious and brilliant student-athlete. Her drive to succeed is equally impressive as her compassion for others. She is humble in both defeat and success. I cannot think of a reason for her to not attend a volleyball camp.

After Volleyball Camp

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to attend this camp. I have grown as a player and as a person. As I was developing my Volleyball skills, I had the privilege to work with lost of amazing people and I enjoyed every second of it! Thank you again for donating!

Pre-Attendance!

I am going to the US Volleyball Nike Volleyball camp at William Jessup University in Rocklin CA this summer. I am grateful that I have the opportunity to continue to pursue my passion for sports, specifically volleyball. I am excited to further develop my current skills and to learn new things to help me grow as a player. Going to this camp will open new doors for me, this experience will hopefully allow me to associate with new people and not only learn from the coaches but from the various people around me.

I chose this program because although I am passionate about every sport I do, I think that volleyball is a sport I want to really stick to and hope to pursue at a collegiate level. I believe that this program is the right first step for me to take so I am able to attain my goal.
