My passion is medicine. I discovered my passion for medicine when I went for my yearly physicals, and saw how my doctor asked me questions related to making the full-body assessment. Now that I am in high school, I started taking classes related to the medical career such as anatomy and physiology, emergency medical tech, and medical careers. Taking these classes has inspired me to go to college to pursue a career in medicine.
My attendance to NSLC Nursing will help me pursue my passion for medicine because it will give me a sense of the type of field and if it's something I would like to pursue in the future. This opportunity will help me better find my passion for a career within the medical career and explore what a nursing program is.
Magaly is a quiet but mighty young lady. She is a top student in all of her classes. Magaly would benefit from the NSLC Nursing program immensely. She is a motivated self-advocate. Through this program, Magaly can network with other students and members of the medical field that she may not otherwise be able to meet. Although she attends a magnet school focused on health and medicine, this opportunity can take her further than she'd naturally be able to go within the community.
I would like to thank everyone one who made my dream come true. I share with you today a tiny bit of my week at NSLC of Nursing!
