Samantha's Story

My passion is Singing.

My role model for singing has always been Demi Lavato, I enjoy singing her music. In middle school, I joined my school's chorus group and I was one of the people chosen to sing the national anthem at the arena in Bridgeport. I also was in an after school program of performing arts at the Klein, but I focused on only singing. We would have a performance every semester, and I was chosen to be the lead singers for one of the performances.

Attending US Performing Arts: Vocal Performance would be my escape for everything. Whenever I sing, I just feel more calm, I could be completely stressed & I would put a song on my phone and sing along and I automatically felt better.

"Samantha is a very bright young woman who deserves every chance to succeed. I think that Samantha will learn to become more confident in her abilities and feel better about having attention focused on her after participating in the program. Due to scheduling restraints, Samantha is unable to be in the school's chorus program. She will benefit greatly from this intensive voice camp because she will be able to learn more techniques than she has access to on a daily basis. Samantha will take full advantage of this opportunity and do her best to succeed."
