My passion is soccer. I discovered my passion for soccer when I started playing as a kid. I knew nothing would ever stop me from being the best. As a 12 year old playing soccer back in my homeland, the Ivory Coast, I was always told to stop acting "boy-ish" because soccer is a male dominant sport. I never listened to any of it because I was doing something I love and it was my only passion. As I grew up, I started thinking "Why not go for it and gave it a try..." Here I am today doing what I love.
Attending US Sports Nike Soccer Camps will help me pursue my passion for soccer by increasing my ability to work with other athletes from all over the country and hopefully learn some valuable lessons throughout my experience. This experience will also help me learn new tricks and plays that will benefit me in the long run. It will build my confidence to interact with coaches and other players.
Korotoum will greatly benefit from attending US Sports Nike Soccer Camp. She is dedicated to the sport and works very hard to develop her skills. This program is an amazing opportunity for Korotoum to not only improve her soccer skills, but also be exposed to a new environment. She will be able to practice volleyball with kids from different backgrounds. I hope she learns just as much about soccer and she does about herself and her surroundings.
