My passion is cooking, or at least I have a passion to learn how to cook. The truth is, I want to learn to cook because I want to cook for my family. My mom is often tired from working and supporting the family, so learning a few cooking skills will give me the chance to give back. I will be able to provide and help around the house. When you cook, you put different ingredients together to make the food taste good and make people happy. I want to spread that kind of joy.
By attending the Campus NYC Culinary Arts Program, I hope to learn those skills and discover more about the culinary world. I know there are so many different kinds of cooking, and careers that go along with them. I hope to meet people of different backgrounds while attending this program. I have always wanted a diverse group of friends, and by attending this program I feel like I will have a new network of friends to call my own.
David intends to immediately give back and contribute to his community as a result of this program experience. What an amazing young man. David's vision for himself as a problem solver will uniquely benefit him as a result of this Culinary Arts camp. He will look for opportunities to bring these skills to other arenas of his life, whether it is web design, problem-solving, or project design. This experience is not just an opportunity for David to learn how to cook. This experience will truly revolutionize his current adolescent life and give him enrichment opportunities that will truly allow David to envision his life as a creative professional, working in a variety of arenas.
Thank you for helping to support me in reaching my goal of attending Campus NYC Culinary Arts this summer. I am excited to explore my passion for cooking and to develop my knowledge of culinary arts. I hope to one day enter a field that will allow me to explore sustainable agriculture.
