My passion is basketball.
Basketball has been my passion ever since I was 9 years old. I'm always looking to improve my basketball skills by practicing in the summer, watching youtube videos to see ways to improve my shooting and handles, or trying out for school teams. I have been watching basketball games and trying to emulate basketball players while creating my own game.
Darius would be a fantastic candidate for the Chelsea Piers Basketball Camp because he's one of the star basketball players at Uncommon prep. I've seen him play more than a few times and it's quite impressive to see him dominate on the court in spite of his small stature. Not being the tallest could be a barrier for many players, but it has seemed to only ignite Darius's love for the sport.
I am excited to go into a basketball camp because I can improve my skills on the court and even take those skills off the court. The camp will push me to new limits which will make me persevere and achieve new heights. But most of all I'm just excited to have fun with the passion that I love.
Darius you can do anything-believe in yourself, keep working hard, and know others are rooting for you!
