Thank you for this opportunity and this beautiful learning experience . I attend the Syracuse Summer College Fashion and Design Program and learned so much in those two weeks. The Fashion and Design program taught me about the history of fashion, how to draw different croquis, and how to sew different kinds of items. I never knew how hard sewing actually was until I came to this program . Attending this program also taught me to be very independent. I would recommend this program to a family member or friend because the program is a great opportunity to meet new people and to learn more about the college and design. Thank you so much for this great experience ! I am very excited about meeting new people and being on a college campus. I’m also excited about learning new things about fashion and how the fashion industry works. The goals that I want to achieve while attending Syracuse are learning about the fashion industry and developing skills needed to be successful at college. I am looking forward to designing different looks and bringing my ideas to surface. I am also looking forward to shopping for new materials, learning new fashion trends and designing unique attire. I am nervous about being on my own and without my family. They provide me with constant support and this will be my first time away from home. One of the challenges that I will face will be adjusting to the college academic level. I will overcome this challenge by remaining dedicated and focused.
