My passion is veterinary science.
Ever since I was three years old, I've had a passion of working with animals. I love animals and I love the idea of working with them and healing them. As time went on, I became older and I started to learn more about the Veterinary Science and my passion for becoming a vet became stronger.
Attending Centenary Summer Scholars will help me learn more information and give me more education in veterinary science than my regular high school. It will also help me experience how college is and how the classes will be. I can experience the full college lifestyle in the short amount of time.
I had the pleasure of serving as Olivia’s English teacher during the last academic year, and I would not hesitate to identify her as a dedicated, well-rounded student, with a kind, thoughtful character.
In the time that I have known Olivia I have seen her grow tremendously, and I have no doubts that she will only continue to develop and improve upon her impressive talents and abilities through participation in valuable experiences. Teaching Olivia was an experience for which I am truly thankful, and I wholeheartedly believe that she will be an excellent addition to your program.
This summer, I will attend the Centenary Summer Scholars program for veterinary medicine. I am extremely excited and happy about this opportunity. This program will give insights and information about working with animals that I probably wouldn't get anywhere else. I will get to work and watch different veterinary procedures and learn more about them. I will also meet tons of new people during the program. These students will have lots in common with me. I hope that this program will help me better understand what I want to pursue when I'm older.
