It's hard to believe, i was a fortunate Wishbone student lucky enough to attend a Pre-College Summer Program at one of the highest ranked colleges in the United States. This was my chance to learn how the process works at college. I strongly encourage high school students to apply for Wishbone Pre-College Summer Program. I had the opportunity for interaction with faculty and fellow students where i enrolled and completed a Medical Anthropology cohort certificate program. I also attended workshops all a regular school day. I would like to say to my Wishbone Sponsors it was an exciting and eye opener program learning more about the wide open opportunities at college. I enjoy learning of the study Education Abroad in 65 Countries, internships, volunteer placements. Whole new world to explore at college. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend the UConn Pre-College Program thanks to the Wishbone Program. You have given students the chance to experience things that usually are only for students who have the means. I met so many new people and learned so much. I hope more teenagers have chances like the one you gave me.
