Braijah's Story

My passion is acting.

Since I was young, I always came home from school, did my homework, then started my “workshop.” This was when I would come into my room and be a different person. The character was always different and always new. Same with the scenario; I would always change it so that the scene fit the character. This “world of entertainment” was not enough. I would ask myself, “What are other reasons of why you want to be an actress?” At first, the reasons was unclear. As I grew older, it started to make sense. I not only wanted to entertain myself, but also other people. This is what made me feel more comfortable and confident about myself.

Attending ACTeen August Conservatory will help me develop my passion for acting by improving with new people and becoming better and better understanding my future career. I would be able to also work with professionals who could show me my mistakes, and also keep me on the path by setting up gigs and theoretical plays. This will help in my future career because I have always wanted to be an actress, and this program will help to improve in it and lead me to the path of my success.
