My passion is basketball.
I first discovered my passion for basketball when my father passed away when I was 9. He always pushed me and motivated me to do and be what I wanted. Before this happened, I had always played basketball but not super seriously. After he had passed, I needed something to do to take my mind off of it. So, I began to get my passion for basketball back by shooting the ball any chance I got and played with my friends at school. The more I played, the more I began to love the game because it kept me motivated to be the best I can be.
Christopher is a good candidate for PGC Essentials Camp because he would benefit greatly from high quality coaching, exposure to higher levels of competition, and the opportunity to learn more about what it takes to earn an athletic scholarship for college.
I am going to be participating in the PGC Essentials camp this summer and I am really excited to have the opportunity to attend this camp because it will give me the time to work on skills that will help me get to the level I want to be at. I feel that in my school, there aren't a lot of opportunities to really expand my skills or train me in basketball, so, for me, joining this camp outside of my school is the only way to really get better at basketball. I think that this program will help me develop my basketball IQ and help me really be comfortable and confident in myself.
I am looking forward to working with other people coaches and players my age or ahead to really get better and getting new knowledge for myself. I believe that participating in this program will help me become the player I desire to be and excel in my talent.
Continue to be a strong young man of valor!
You're a good young man, just wanted to help and I wish you the best. Give it all you got!
Chris - I'm so glad you continue to find ways to better yourself inside and outside of school. I hope this basketball camp is a great experience for you.
