My passion is coding.
I discovered my passion for coding recently. In my sophomore year of high school, I decided to take an AP Computer Science class to learn the basics of coding. During that school year, I was introduced to Java, which helped form my passion for the field of computer science. Currently, my passion for coding has grown tremendously. Ever since I started my junior year of high school, I have been focusing on learning various coding languages in order to create an app. Learning how to code has been the best choice I have ever made in my life.
Attending iD Tech Camp will allow me to gain hands-on experience, while also applying what I have learned from previous my previous computer science class. Participating in iD Tech Camp will give me glimpse into what the technological field could be like. This summer program includes computer science courses that only college level students are able to take and I believe I have the determination to take these courses, which will allow me to challenge myself. I hope to gain a stronger foundation in computer science, ultimately furthering my goal of becoming a software engineer.
Shivani is always looking for ways to apply her knowledge into practical applications that would be beneficial to her community. iD Tech Camp will give her the opportunity to build on her knowledge as well as work with a community of like-minded scholars with the same passions. I know that she will bring her experience from the program back to better her school community by sharing her experience or helping her peers around her.

I would like to thank you for donating to my campaign in order to help me attend iD Tech Camp at Stanford University. This summer, I am very excited to learn how to code and make apps in C++. Being able to attend this camp will allow me to become exposed to different people and situations, which will ultimately better my social skills and my knowledge.
