Rosie's Story

I discovered my passion for entrepreneurship when I was 12 years old. I dreamt of having my own clothing line, tv show, makeup line, and fashion line. I was inspired by people like Kylie Jenner and Rihanna, who are strong, young women who started their own businesses. By watching their increased success, I imagined being able to do the same with my own creativity and abilities.

By attending YPI Summer Arts Camp, I'll be able to pursue a career in art and entrepreneurship. I'll learn the necessary skills to take my artistic abilities to the next level as a way to kickstart my future career in business and entrepreneurship.

A Note from Mr. LeSieur, Rosie's Counselor

I've only known Rosie for a few months, but in that time I've seen a confident, smart young woman with a ton of potential. Transitioning to high school is difficult for many students, but Rosie has been able to self advocate and articulate her needs in ways beyond her peers.

Rosie would be a good candidate because her savviness is genuine and should be fostered into leadership skills. YPI Summer Arts Camp can be a launching pad for Rosie to create a vision for her future, providing her a platform to develop a direction.
