Kayla's Story

My passion is movement.

I've been dancing since I was four years old but always wanted to play tennis. I've been interested in learning the sport for many years, and now I will finally get that opportunity to learn the game. I love how intense the sport is, and it's definitely a good work out!

Attending Nike Tennis Camp will help develop my physical and emotional skills. I will give and take tips from the many people who may be more knowledgable than myself. I'm very open minded, so I'll be thankful for the advice. Finally, I'm very loving and friendly, so making friends and helping each other grow will certainly be a big part of my experience at Nike Tennis Camp.

She comes from a family of three older brothers and two younger siblings, which taught her to strive for what she wants as well as how to bond with others. Her home taught values of hard work and dedication have transcended to her educational and extracurricular activities.

Kayla would an excellent candidate for Nike Tennis Camp because she is very passionate and driven to improve, both physically and academically. The structure of the program will make her even more disciplined when she realizes that passion takes hard work and determination. She is one young lady that is not afraid to go that extra mile."
