First off, I want to say thank you so much to everyone who funded my program. I attended Blueprint Programs at Lehigh University and I have to say that it was the most amazing experience I have ever had. At first, I thought I was on my way to becoming a forensic scientist, but after taking the Forensics course I found that Criminal Investigation was more my field. The classes were an eye opener for me and helped me figure out what I want to pursue in life. Because of Blueprint, I have decided to major in Criminology and Violence which may seem really out there, but I am really excited for it. I made amazing friends there that I talk to almost everyday even though we are miles apart from one another. I honestly want to go again next year if it is possible, but we'll see. Again, thank you so much for this opportunity. I wouldn't have the friends I have now or be on the path I am on now if it weren't for you.

After living with my mom for 15 years of my life, being away from her and on my own will be something very new and scary for me. I have never been out of state without anyone I know before, so going to Lehigh all by myself with a whole new atmosphere of people is a huge step that I'm excited to take. My plan after college is to attend Bryant University, which is in Rhode Island -- a little far from New York City. This is great practice for when I'm off to college because at Bryant I won't know anyone and I'll be away from home. Being away will be tough and new, but I'm ready to take the experience head on.
