Jose's Story

My passion is art.
Art has always been a passion for me. Ever since I was little, I used to always try and design something with Legos or draw cartoon animals. Art has changed my point of view. Anytime I had a bad day, or if I'm bored, I would always have a hands-on project with designing or art. Art always made me very curious and I want to continue it this summer

The program at 92Y Metalwork and Jewelry Intensive will help me embrace more ways of art and help me to continue on my journey to success. It will also be a very fun experience and provide me new skills other than just the normal art I usually do.

Jose has a gift with his hands and fashion. He has always wanted to create something in fashion but has limited resources to pursue his passion. Jose will be a great candidate for the 92Y Metalwork and Jewelry Intensive program because he will be very engaged with this program. Jose will take the information and apply it to his life.
