My passion is medical care and law.
I discovered my passion for medical care when I joined the school's program for medical students located at Norwalk Community College. I realized taking care of people is really important, and I also learned that doctors can do many miraculous things that I am often curious about (like how a body can heal itself with some medicine or bandages). I discovered my passion for law when I realized how important people's lives were. People can be proven innocent or guilty just by the judge, the wrong person can be convicted of something they didn't do and I want to prevent that from happening and if they are guilty I want to make sure they receive justice and actually get thrown in jail. Law is a serious matter that determines ones fate that I want to learn more about.
By attending Brown Pre-College, I get to learn more about college (especially since I can't decided between medical care or law). Brown College is known for its academics. I feel that it is important for students to get a feel for what college can be like, and some of the career opportunities colleges can provide.
I feel that Amy is an academically motivated, dedicated and inquisitive student and individual who consistently works hard to achieve her goals. Her high school academic record thus far has been exemplary. She also possesses an innate desire to learn about a diverse range of subjects, and her interest in finding out more about the career fields of law and medicine, two areas of concentration offered at the Brown Pre-College summer program, will allow her the opportunity to explore these areas in more depth and should ultimately help guide her future career choices.
Greetings !
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far!
I got the chance to participate in this amazing program called Summer @Brown Pre-college thanks to everyone who generously donated to my campaign (and
wishbone, of course). My course was day in the life of a medical student. It was really interesting. Every day consisted of learning new material along with homework and essays but it was bearable. We got to go to the anatomy lab where we examined people who donated their bodies for education. I realized I wouldn't have been able to attend such an amazing program without the support of amazing people like you . Once again thank you and have a great rest of the summer! :D
