My passion is psychology.
I discovered my passion for psychology when a family member explained what a psychologist does. Once I heard about this, I researched psychology online and realized that I was interested in the human mind and its functions. Once I got older, I realized that people come to me when they have problems going on in their personal lives. I feel that psychology is something I really want to pursue so I can make a positive difference in people's lives.
Attending UConn Pre-College Summer Program will help me pursue my passion by teaching me how psychology works. This program will help me start my journey to become the person I want to be and achieve my goals.
Jasmine will be a good fit for UConn Pre-College Summer Program. Here is a young lady that has an achievable dream. This program would be a giant step towards that dream. It would help her decide if psychology is really for her.
Jasmine is dedicated and devoted to her goals, and I have watched her level of confidence grow over time. This program could be the platform from which she can launch herself into a future that she might have thought impossible.
During this program, I plan on making the most of it. I want to make this opportunity one of the best experiences of my life. Whatever activities that have been planned for that week I will participate to the best of my ability. I have the essentials that is needed for this trip and I will follow all the safety precautions for this trip as well. I will try my best the attain the knowledge needed to get through this program. All of your efforts and donations will not go unnoticed and it will not go to waste. I'm so thankful for this opportunity to expand my horizons and better myself as a person.
