malik's Story

My passion is basketball.

I discovered my passion for basketball when I was a little kid and my older cousin used to pick me up from school. Almost everyday we went to the park for an hour and I would watch him play basketball with his friends. Then when we got home I would see my cousin watch basketball games on TV. When I got older, my dad bought me a basketball. He always took me to the park to practice and play other people. Last summer my older cousin bought a portable backboard and hoop to set up in our backyard. When I am not in the park, I am practicing in my backyard with my brother and little cousins.

Malik is an excellent candidate for US Sports Nike Basketball Camps! He LOVES basketball and is in an area where it is one of the only activities that is available during his free time. I have watched him mature over the years and this experience will provide further interactions, friendships, and basketball skill building that will provide joy to him and help him become a young man with integrity. I also believe his genuine heart and positive personality will add to the experience of others.

This summer I will be attending a Nike basketball Camp and I am very excited to be attending this program. I chose this program because it will help me follow my passion and improve my basketball skills. I am so excited to be attending this basketball camp for the summer.
