My passion is to be a military doctor. My mom and family have always told me that I always asked Santa for medical equipment. As I grew up, my dream of becoming a doctor got bigger and bigger. At the same time, I was passionate about joining the army, and I realized that becoming a doctor in action in the army was my gold.
This program will help me experience the training I will require if I do end up going to the army. This will also be the first time that I actually travel on my own to a different place without my parents, and this experience will help me know how it's going to feel once I go to a university. This program will give me the opportunity to meet new people that have different experiences and different cultures, and I know that by going, I will learn how to be a better person and be positive about myself.
"I have known Fabiola for the past 3 years. She is a student at the school where I am principal. Fabiola joined an advisory this year where all other students had done a summer program except for her. As a result of being around these other students for just three weeks, she has realized this is something she wants to do, pushed herself out of her comfort zone, and has been the first one to take action."
