Lourdes's Story

My passion is art. I like to draw a lot, so I figured I could start animating for fun. I started watching videos from other people who make animation memes for practice. I liked how the timing was right and that the movements went along with the music or dialog. Then I started working on a small animation meme a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed timing the music and movements right, and then coming up with a small story or theme to go along with it.

Attending US Performing Arts Computer Animation can help me animate better and maybe help me learn more about animation. I'm only a beginner at animation, so there's a lot of things that I still need to learn. I also want to start a Youtube channel to upload my own videos, or animation memes for practice. I want to make an animation series about a comic I'm making. This will help develop some skills, and I can also prepare for my future.

Participating in the US Performing Arts Computer Animation program will not only help Lourdes learn more about animation, but also help her develop her confidence and sociability. Summer program update

So summer is already over and I would like to thank my supporters for giving me this opportunity to attend a program related to my dream career. I had a lot of fun animating the old fashioned way with different materials. I learned a lot from my mentors and had fun talking with other campers. Me and my roommate got along well, and so did the other campers. Again, thank you for giving me this opportunity and have a good day!
