My passion is drawing fashion sketches.
My passion for drawing fashion sketches started when I was in the 6th grade. I've always been a been very artistic, and every since I was little I knew I wanted to be in the fashion industry. At first, I wanted to become a model, but as I grew older I started to learn to draw and knit. Recently, I learned a little bit about how to draw a fashion figure and how to design a dress, but I want to keep on learning more and more.
Attending FIDM 3 Days of Fashion will help me explore my passion because it will make me understand more about the world of fashion with others who are just as passionate about fashion as I am. Overall, this program is not opportunity that comes everyday, and it help me explore more of my passion and in the future attending this program will benefit me when applying to fashion schools.

When she asked me to be her mentor, she was quick to point out the specific things she will learn such as draping a dress and planning a fashion event. She was glowing just imagining the opportunity to interact with reach fashion icons and enhance her technical skills. She is excited to be able to innovate and imagine fashion ideas then be able to actually share them with others who also feel passionately about fashion. I know Michelle will gain so much from this experience, because it will help her learn more about the fashion world and what it takes to be successful there. She is very oriented towards her future, and is serious about a career in fashion."
