Ta's Story

My passion is baseball. I started to play baseball when I was in 8th grade without knowing how baseball really works. Although it was really challenging, I didn't quit. I really wanted to try something new, so I decided to stick to it. Every time I pick up the ball and glove, I feel the happiness I get when I play baseball. I'd like to learn more about the sport so that I can achieve my dream of playing in the Major League Baseball.

By attending US Sports Nike Baseball Camp, I know it will helps me become better at batting, second baseman, fielding, and understanding more about what I need to know to become a better player.

A Note from Mr. Mitchell, Ta's Coach

Ta is a very hard-working and curious student. He absorbs everything, and is very quick to work on correcting mistakes or areas of weakness. Last year, Ta attended this camp, and he grew tremendously. The skills he acquired are going to help him contribute to our team this year as he looks to gain more experience and playing time. The best part of US Sports Nike Baseball Camp for Ta was being around players who have been playing baseball their entire lives. I believe his participation in this camp will allow him to develop his playing abilities as well as increasing his confidence.

Baseball Camp

This summer baseball camp, I learned and experienced a lot from different coaches. They set different stations where some group will do outfield, infield, and batting. From each stations, I learned different techniques and drills. This year summer camp, I learned more than last summer camp. I had a lot of fun.
