My passion is to become a surgeon.
I discovered this passion by watching a hit show called "Grey's Anatomy." I feel a rush when watching the characters do procedures in the operating room or in the trauma room. I know I'm supposed to be a surgeon because I find happiness when talking about medical procedures or surgeries. I also love
learning new things, and in the medical field, there are constantly new things being discovered or invented.
Attending the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine will help me explore my passion by giving me new tools, vocabulary, and experimenting in the medical field. It will also help me to decipher whether or not I'm fit for the surgical field or if I want to become a regular family doctor or a nurse. I would hate to try to make a career out of something that I don't fit, so I'm eager to try it out at the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine and see if I like it.
Jarya has been focused on her academics and achieving at her highest level in school. She is a good candidate for this program because she is personable, has great mannerisms, and is very passionate about becoming a medical professional. She would benefit from the real-life experiences that the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine has to offer. I know that this would be her chance to see first-hand what medical professionals do.
