I have been home for awhile trying to figure out how to put my experience into words. I had fun and learned a lot of new things like how the Habitat for Humanity Restore works and how they build the houses. Unfortunately, we did not get to help with the build, but we still did learn a lot. And not to mention how close we got as a group towards the end. There were some challenges I must say, but they were well taken care of with the help of others pushing me to become more independent and outspoken about my issues. I don’t really know how to sum everything up, but I do know that I would definitely do it again.

I am all packed and on my way! Very nervous but excited at the same time. I’m so glad I get the opportunity to help make a difference and to meet new people. Thank you all for helping me with this great opportunity.
