Jaden's Story

My passion is basketball.

Basketball became my passion when I was a little kid. I always loved the sport growing up but as I got older, I began to take the sport more seriously. Trying out for different teams and not making them motivated me to work on my game daily. In middle school, I played for my school team unaware of what my potential could be. I dedicated myself to doing pushups, sit-ups, and going to the gym. When I got into high school, things changed, the game was more intense and faster. I had to commit myself daily. Now, I it has become something that I do every day.

I will develop my passion for basketball by attending Nike Basketball Camp. This will help me because I will be playing basketball on a different level. Also, I will be playing against different people and experiencing competition every day. Having great coaches with experience is a benefit because it will allow me to learn from the best of the best. Lastly, participating in this camp will help me gain confidence by proving to myself that wherever I go, I can play to the best of my ability.
