My passion is engineering.
One day last year, while reading "Steve Jobs: The Man Who Thought Different," the idea of engineering grasped my attention. Steve Jobs was once selling laptops out of his basements to people who passed by, and then became the founder of Apple. Although my knowledge of engineering may not be equivalent to that of Steve Jobs, I admire the fact that engineering gives you the ability to help make people's lives easier. In engineering, all you need is motivation and imagination.
Jasmine is an educational brute force -there is nothing that will get in the way of her achieving her goals. I've witnessed Jasmine rewrite a 5 paragraph essay not once, twice, three times, but four times, so she could finally receive the grade that met her high self standards. I've witnessed countless students do the same, but distinguishes Jasmine is her keen ability to absorb and implement feedback. Her ability to reflect and execute is unparalleled and well beyond her years. It is these attributes that will help Jasmine be successful at the Brown Summer@Brown program for engineering.
I would first like to start be thanking all of the donors that helped fund my trip to Summer at Brown. The Program at Summer at Brown was a very fun experience that I feel like all students should partake in. Not only are you independent but you have to teach yourself to make the best of your day whether that means going to ask your teacher for extra help at the end of the day, or going out with friends. This experience was an eye opener because it taught me how much harder I have to work in order to pursue my dreams. I also got to understand the vibe of a college campus because of the many cultures. I would not have traded this experience for any other. Thank you so much!
Just wanted to complete your required amount. Wishing you the best.
Wish the best for you in this life.
