A Note from Ms. Schindler, Jennifer's Teacher

I strongly believe that Jennifer is a good candidate for Envision NYLF Medicine since she is one of the most detail-oriented and organized students I have. Her passion for learning shows every time we tackle a challenging problem during class. She is a very motivated student that will use different resources when learning a new idea. Jennifer perseveres through challenging problems, and that is one of the main reasons I believe she will excel in this program.

I also believe that Jennifer will take full advantage of the opportunities that this program offers because she has not had other opportunities to pursue medicine and nursing. As with all the other programs she is currently part of, she will be willing to learn and will share this excitement with the people around her. This program will give her a window into the world of medicine and will expose her to skills necessary to excel in future career endeavors. As a first generation college student, this program will also help her develop skills that will help her succeed in college.
