My passion is business management.
I discovered my passion for leadership and management in school where I have explored various roles when doing projects, working in groups or just having a discussion. Specifically, in 8th grade, I was working with my best friends on a science project, which was difficult to plan because we were in different classes. With less than a week left, I realized that leadership is a part of me I couldn't ignore, so I took hold and drove us to success. In the end, we pulled through and earned a 99 on our paper. From this, I realized I enjoy being the leader in anything I do, making sure everything is perfectly placed and planned. Overall, managing is my passion, and I want to pursue management specifically in business.
The Brown Pre-college program will help me explore my passions because it has courses that I'm interested in. Management and business are both very broad fields, which merge with others to create endless possibilities. I believe the program will help bridge the gap between my passions and a future career. The Brown Pre-College program is a unique program in that it would allow me to experience the college life early in my high school career.

My experience at Brown University this summer was amazing! The environment within the program was great; I felt like my peers were as passionate about learning as I am. I really enjoyed the economics course I took. I learned a great deal about the research aspects of economics and how to apply economics to different areas. I hope I can go back next year and take some more classes! I would once again like to thank all the amazing people that helped make this dream a reality for me, I would've never been able to attend Brown this summer without you all.
I am thrilled to announce that my campaign has been fully funded! I am profoundly thankful for all the donations that I received. Without your support, I would have never been able to attend Summer@Brown. I am lucky to say that my campaign went smoothly and I am ready for my summer economics course at Brown University. I am one step closer to achieving my goals, and I would, once again, like to thank every single one of my donors for providing me with the support I needed to attend this program!

Hello Michael. My father instilled in me that I didn't get where I am by myself. No matter how hard I think I worked to achieve my accomplishments, I had help. This help came in the form of sacrifice from people years ago who paved the way to make it possible for me to get an education. This help also came from my local community members who gave financial and moral support and guidance.
We are happy to donate toward your education and success. We are very proud of you and what you want to accomplish. Yan and I ask that you do your best in everything and also give back when it is your turn to help someone else. This is the most important thing.
