Edwin's Story

My passion is soccer.

This became my passion when I was four years old and joined my first team. The first time I kicked a ball and played my first game is when I fell in love with the sport. Since then, I've wanted to play every day, so I knew soccer is my passion because it's something I love to do. I try hard in every practice and stay focused so that I can maybe become a professional in the future.

Attending Nike Soccer Camp would help me improve my skills and mentality. This will help me be recognized by great coaches and possibly give me the opportunity to try out with big clubs. Then, when I go to college, I will have the skills that I need to join the the team.

"Edwin is a passionate soccer player. He plays soccer whenever and wherever he can--for our school team, for club teams, with family, with friends. This year, Edwin helped lead our school soccer team to the league finals, where he played fiercely.

Nike Soccer Camp would allow Edwin to receive high quality coaching, play against other top-flight players, and possibly give him some exposure to college coaches. Edwin would really like to play soccer in college, and I'd love for him to have a shot to see if this dream can become a reality."
