My passion is building.
When I was young, I would always play with Legos. Using these toys, I would build a story that was happening in my mind, creating an environment that transformed as if it was actually happening. Later, I was introduced to gaming, which allowed me to create what I wanted exactly how I wanted it done. Integrating my experiences from childhood into a computer and gaming console made building my passion.
By attending Computer Camp, I will develop my passion by learning new skills in order to transform my imagination through gaming. One of my biggest goals in life is to build something others can view, appreciate, and use. To do this, I must attend the Computer Camp so I can acquire the skills needed to accomplish this goal.
"Ahmad is a very extraordinary young fellow. He has critical thinking, leadership abilities, determination, motivation, and passion for whatever he puts his mind into. Apart from the above qualities, Ahmad is also a very hard working individual. I personally witness Ahmad assisting with all of the family's chores, going above and beyond. When I asked him why he helps out, versus spending more time playing, he told me that he feels the need to assist his hardworking parents as much as possible. To me, that really speaks volumes about the character of a young person."
I went to Stanford for a week long coding program. The program taught me many things in the coding industry, but also I learned a couple of more things that I will never forget. The experience was fun. I became friends with my dorm mate. He was very cool and chill. In coding, I learned about how numbers and semicolons means everything when writing as code. Without them, your code is basically nulled and will have no effect. Overall, the camp was very fun and I am very happy that I went. I would recommend this to anybody interested in wanting to learn coding.
Thank you guys so much for the opportunity to attend the Computer Camp at Stanford. The program I am attending is essentially a computer camp where I stay for one week and learn about coding. More specifically, Java, which is used for all kinds of stuff like building programs from the ground up. I chose this program because I want a career involved in building, and I know by attending this program it will give me knowledge necessary for the future. I'm looking forward to building relationships with the students and the staff.
