A Note from Emily Sura, Obed's Teacher

Obed has always demonstrated a passion for soccer. He has been a committed member to the school's Junior Varsity team as he has great attendance to practice, is a great leader on and off the field, and always works hard. Soccer has continuously been an outlet for Obed and a motivator that has impacted all aspects of his life.

I believe Obed is a good candidate for US Sports Nike Soccer Camp because of his commitment and passion for soccer. He will benefit from participating because he will be able to learn new aspects of the game that he does not have access to in our program here at school. I also believe that the exposure to playing with others outside of his community will be an enriching experience for him and will allow him to get out of his comfort zone and learn from others while simultaneously allowing him to develop as a soccer player.
