My passion is economics. I like economics because it is very important in our society and I hope to use it to help people. Baruch Leadership Academy Sophomore Enrichment can help me pursue my passion for economics. I plan on focusing on Global Finance and Economics because it will be the most useful lesson to major in when I go to college. I hope to learn a lot more about economics and take classes with new people.
The world is filled with people who have a mission to do something great, however only a few in the world execute these missions with poise and consistency. Dabria is the epitome of poise and consistency in the regards to how she works. The results that reveal themselves are essential to her greatness. She asks the right questions, accepts feedback, implements it, and executes to the best of her ability to show her growth. Her lack of resources is not a hindrance due to the passion and power of her brain's creative power. Dabria's actions make her an excellent candidate for Baruch Leadership Academy Sophomore Enrichment.
At Baruch College , I learned not only more about economics and the way in which the global market operates but also other skills and lessons ready to help me in the future. Coming out of this program I have learned more about leadership, collaboration, and recovering from failure. I would recommend this program to others as it was a great experience for me.
I am so excited and thankful to be given this opportunity. In the program, I am mostly excited to learn more about economics such as being a trader. I am also extremely excited for more college preparation. I am preparing for the program by learning as much as I can about economics and maintaining a high GPA in my classes.
