Benjamin's Story

My passion is coding.

My passion for coding all started when I took a course on coding in tech class back in 7th and 8th grade. I did code.org and I was fascinated by what you could command something to do. I also got into a coding workshop named CodeNow where I learned a new coding language named ruby. I also attended a free course at school and I have experienced some of C++. At both locations, I worked with other people who were interested in coding to create our own function and code.

iD Tech Camps SF Bay Area will help me pursue my passion for coding because I want to learn to use the big name software any learn how their codes work and create my own code. I would like to be exposed to new software that I haven't learned or seen before and see if I like how they code. This would make me familiar to more types of code and expand my knowledge of coding. It will help better develop my interest in coding.

Benjamin is a good candidate for the iD Tech Camps because he would receive invaluable training and skills development opportunities in coding and problem solving and data analysis. The iD Tech Camps provide an incredible opportunity to network and learn and lead with other bright and driven youth from all over.
