Nyemah's Story

My passion is forensic science.

Ever since I was young, I've loved science and experimenting. I used to watch TV shows like Forensic Files and Criminal Minds, so I always wanted to learn how to do the things they do.

In 6th grade, I realized that I wanted to take science seriously, but still I did not know what science I wanted to study. The Wishbone program will help me pursue my passion and figure out what I would like to do as a career.

A Note from Ms. Albanese, Nyemah's Counselor

Nyemah would be a great candidate for the Envision NYLF Law and CSI program. First and foremost, Nyemah is a team-player. She intuitively understands the importance of collaboration and is a natural leader among her peers because of this. Nyemah is very inquisitive; she is often seeking the opinions and thoughts of her peers and adults to better make sense of her world. Nyemah's inherent curiosity would make her an enthusiastic leader in the program. Through the NSLC program, Nyemah would have the opportunity to further develop her leadership skills, while exploring a passion that she has had little chance to pursue.

My Great Wishbone Experience

I just want to start off by thanking everyone who donated for me to go to this program. I had so much fun exploring and learning new things and I even made a bunch of new friends who I hope will be with me for the rest of my life. I had picked CSI (forensic science) as my main choice to do, but I actually learned a lot about law too. This was an experience I will never forget because it taught me a lot and actually gave me a better understanding to what I want to do in life.

Giving Thanks

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to all the people who donated for me to go to this program. Everyone who donated, I want you to know you have helped me have a better understanding for what I would like to pursue when I get older. God Bless you all and thank you again.
