Natassia's Story

My passion is engineering. I discovered my passion for engineering only 30 minutes after entering my first engineering class in high school. We were shown a video on the impact that engineers have on the world, and to say that I was amazed at the legion of things that engineering is responsible for making the world more efficient would be an understatement. I was astonished, and developing an understanding of various ways of impacts made me become more aware of the variety of ways that a person can offer help. I have always wanted to help others, and an engineer can help others with the smallest creation such as toilet paper. I would have a small but significant impact on making life easier. I have also been very interested in the medical field; however, I feel more passionate about working behind the scenes and ensuring that everything, while making the necessary advancement in tools, would help to further find cures and make it easier to ensure a person's health. There is always a way to improve the world for the benefit of everyone.
