My passion is football.
When I was younger I would always watch my older brother play football and he inspired me to start playing. My first real season was in the 6th grade and I immediately fell in love with it. The competition and friendships created with my teammates is something that I will never forget. I know it is nearly impossible to play in the NFL but it has always been a dream of mine.
Antonio loves to play sports but being that we are a charter school we really don't offer many sports here for the students. However, that did not stop Antonio from pursuing his passion for football. He tried out for the Stamford High football team last year and made it. He then returned to the team this year as a captain! To be named a captain of a team in which you don't even attend the school speaks very highly of the type of person Antonio is.
Antonio! From one SHS captain (girls swimming '84), congrats on chasing your dream! Go get it!
