I always wanted to be a part of the part of society that molds people's idea of beauty and value. Through the magic of directing, making music and so much more, I want to be the reason that a person sitting at home watches TV and feels better about herself.

A Note from Ms. Dean, Saniyah's Mentor

Saniyah is an extraordinarily intuitive young woman. She is observant and unique, always taking risk and personalizing her performance to be a true reflection of her personal talents and skills. Many times in class, she would add something more to her performance to push both the rigor and herself as an artist. She is fearless, leaping into the work without concern for others opinions, wanting only to grow as an artist. This lack of ego and hard work is one that needs a more rigorous program to compliment it. I think Saniyah would thrive in a program where she could have more extensive experiences artistically to truly spread her wings.
