My passion is law.
I have always pushed myself academically and have the knowledge to defend, debate, and motivate those around me. Since I can remember I have always had a strong sense of opinion. As I grew older, I began to defend myself with strong arguments and evidence. People would tell me "you would be a great lawyer." I began to see law as a future and a possible career.
Attending Emory University would help me pursue my passion for law and criminal justice. This is a great opportunity for me; to visit the school I consider my first choice, and to see what I want to pursue in my future while better understanding what the college experience will be life. This is a one time chance, and I would not otherwise have this opportunity.
Elianna is an incredibly opinionated child who never fails to speak her mind and share her opinion. Elianna pursues her passion every single day in my history class by giving each and every thing she does her all. Every time she is asked to make an argument she does so to the best of her ability and passionately will defend her position until the end. She will work so hard to find historical evidence to support either side, and find the counter claim so she is able to adequately dispute it. Our school is based in Harlem and we work with primarily disadvantaged kids. We don't necessarily have all the resources that other schools might have, but that has never stopped Elianna from pursuing her dreams and sharing her opinions.
Attending the pre college program at Emory was an amazing experience for me. I got a feel for how college will be, and I loved the physiology course that I took. I met a lot of great people. I made a lot of new friends that I am currently still in touch with. The best part was that they were all from different countries and states, so I learned a lot from different cultures. Overall this opportunity was something Ive never done before, but would do again!!!
You gotta do this for you , this is for you , this isn't about anybody live for you , honor you never lose sight of that .😘
Elianna is a hard-working scholar who deserves every opportunity for higher education. So proud of her-- can't wait to see how she changes the world!
Keep up the good work! So very proud of you 😘
