My passion is basketball.
I first discovered my passion for basketball when I was in the 7th grade. I would always watch my older cousins play but was afraid to play. One day, I found the courage to play, and I had so much fun doing it. Ever since that day, I kept on playing everyday, and I began to notice that if I took it seriously, I could be good. Now I have fallen in love with the game of basketball and want to continue to pursue my dream.
Attending US Sports Nike Basketball Camps will help me pursue my passion for basketball by allowing me to train and play with different people. I will also be allowed to play in different areas with different competition and that is always good for my game. This will also allow me to play in front of different crowds, possibly in front of college coaches. This could help me make a name for myself towards people that haven't heard of me and also could lead to me receiving offers from schools interested in me.
Josh is a good candidate for US Sports Nike Basketball Camps because he represents Hartford Public High School extremely well. He is a leader on the court, a vocal orchestrator that helps educate his teammates, and in the classroom. He is always extremely focused and is able to zero in on information and literary technique before most of his classmates. The additional skills and practice he will receive at this camp will only help him foster these talents more.
