Moribine's Story

My passion is leadership.

I knew I had a passion for leadership since the very first day I took a breath. I'm the eldest brother with three brothers and a sister. I knew I had to carve a path for my brothers and sister to follow because it's my duty to lead them to success. I want to be a role model, a father, and the child that fulfills my grandfather's dreams.

Attending Duke Summer Academy for High School Students will help me pursue my passion for Leadership Development by helping me learn how to be a great leader. Duke is undeniably a truly prestigious school and I really see myself learning a lot from it. Attending Duke will help make my visions clear.

Moribine is a good candidate for the Duke Summer Academy program because he really wants it; he has a vision for himself and is doing his best to reach his goals. Throughout his schooling he has developed great work ethic, he is very organized, he listens to instruction, and portrays keen enthusiasm for his education.

Moribine is a go-getter and his kindness towards his peers inspires them as well. I know if given the opportunity to participate Moribine will not only be a sponge and take full advantage of this prestigious experience, but he will also contribute his own ideas and skills.

I have participated in the Duke Summer Academy for High School Students. I am truly thrilled that I have attended the program because it will help me understand the job of an entrepreneur and business leader. My school still lacks these type of opportunities and I think that this program was truly a stepping stone for me to becoming that man I will be in the future.

I really enjoyed working with other people my age and sharing ideas and advice with one another. I chose this program because I have honestly loved money and competition. Participating in this program has made my path clearer and has pushed me into pursuing it or possibly not. So, thank you because I really appreciated it.

Pre-Attendance Update- Moribine Traorey

I am going to be participating in the Duke Summer Academy for High School Students. I am truly thrilled to be attending the program because it will help me understand the job of an entrepreneur and business leader.
