My passion is soccer.
I discovered this passion when I was a kid in my home country of Guatemala. I used to play with older people, so in that way I could learn more about how to play. I just arrived from Guatemala a couple of years ago, and soccer has helped me meet new friends who help me with the language.
Attending Nike Soccer Camp will help me explore my passion because I will play with other players and challenge myself to become a better player. Also, getting instruction from a college coach will help elevate my knowledge of the game and become an even better player.

As an recently arrived immigrant from a country that has few opportunities for education or athletics, he has been resilient to major changes. His passion for soccer can and will open academic, athletic, and financial opportunities to go to college."
