My passion is foreign languages.
Growing up in a family that watched a lot of movies that weren't in a language native to them helped me develop my passion for other languages and even my own. Coming to America at the age of 5 and still watching foreign movies including English ones always made me wonder what they were saying, and how different it would be to watch those movie without subtitles. By arriving to America at such a young age I was able to learn English easily, but without knowing it, I was losing my own. Not only did I have to continue with my English but I had to relearn my own language. Now knowing both languages I moved onto learning Italian and will move onto learning even more in the near future. I want to not only communicate but also connect with everyone.
Moza is a determined young woman who is motivated to fulfill her dreams. She had always demonstrated extra effort in the classroom in order to improve her average. She did so on her own because she wanted to succeed. Moza will be even more willing to seek her passion for foreign languages because it is so important and interesting to her. She is a responsible, mature individual who will put 110% effort into making her dreams come true.
I had a great time at Uconn thanks to wishbone. I expirenced a little of what college was like with new people that became my friends. Those new friends that I made we great and helpful in letting me know about their background and interests. The class I took at Uconn was very helpful in what I want to study when I go to college. It was a fun class and a great experience I would do it again if I was given the chance.
Thank you for giving me the wondrous opportunity to spend my summer at UConn. I will be going to study and partake in studying liberal arts and learning a new and exciting language. Before attending I will prepare mentally and physically for this great opportunity. I will be packing my luggage very soon. I am very excited to be away from home, learn new things, make new friends, and partake in a wonderful experience.
