Jesus's Story

My passion is baseball.

I was first introduced to baseball because I have family members who have played professional baseball in Mexico. Being around a baseball centered-environment at a young age really inspired and made me visualize myself as a successful baseball player. I have played several sports, but none have impacted me as much as baseball because it distracts me from personal obstacles and is my personal safe haven.

When I am on the baseball diamond, I feel a sense of freedom because I am in charge of my own effort. Baseball is a sport where I can push myself to be a better athlete and an inspire young kids to find their own outlet in life even when personal obstacles come their way.
