My passion is helping others.
I discovered this passion a long time ago. Whenever someone was feeling down I always was there to help them. A leadership program became available when I was in 6th grade, and I was the first to join. Also, I like the idea of helping people medically, especially kids. Seeing a kid sick just doesn't feel right. I want to possibly be the person to cure childhood diseases. Attending the National Teen Leadership Program would help me discover how important this passion is to me.
"Kameya grew to have a passion for leadership. She ran for and won a seat on our school's student council last year. The 8th grade group she was part of won many praises of the student council faculty advisor for their dedication, commitment and hard work. Kameya along with the 8th grade group helped the 8th graders put on various lessons and events for our school.
All in all, Kameya made the most out of her 8th grade year. She took every opportunity she could to try and join programs that exposed her to new opportunities. Attending National Teen Leadership Program will help her take her passion for leadership to the next level.
