I want to start off by saying that I am incredibly thankful and grateful for given this opportunity to attend this program. I had such an amazing time and met so many great people. I not only learned so much more about nursing, but I learned a lot about myself. I was able to make connections with people from all over the world that are heading in a similar career path. I was also able to learn more about what I can accomplish with my degree in nursing and how far I can go with it. It was such an amazing experience and I enjoyed every moment of it. From the CPR certification class to the birthing simulations to actually starting a "patient's" heart back up during a mock code. All the skills I learned over these last nine days will be remembered and used often in my career as a nurse one day. Just over these nine days my passion for nursing has really increased a lot more.

I am extremely grateful to be given this opportunity to attend the NSLC Nursing program this summer. I chose this program to give me an head start and glance of what it is like being a nurse. I plan to gain knowledge and develop skills that will be needed in my future. I am very excited to see the stimulation labs and receive the hands on experience. I also can't wait to meet with the faculty of Yale School of Nursing and peers who are interested in nursing as much as me.
