Sema'j's Story

My passion is performing arts.

My passion initially began when I used to listen to music on the radio. I started to write and record my own lyrics. The recording software that I've used is known as Fl Studio, I was fairly new to the software so I wanted to learn more. This stemmed my interest in producing my own instrumentals, as well as mixing and mastering them myself. I continue to mix music in my free time and I enjoy doing something different. In addition to music, I love to also act.

Attending US Performing Arts will help me gain more knowledge on performing. This program will additionally help me work on my communication skills, due to the fact that I am a fairly quiet person. This will help me step out of my comfort zone and meet new people who posses the same passion as me. I really want to learn some new techniques and also would like to see a real life studio.

A Note from Ms. Vitali, Sema'j's Teacher

I recommended Sema'j to US Performing Arts when I found out that he makes his own music and has a strong passion for performing arts. I have no doubt that he would take full advantage of the opportunities provided in this program, since someone as dedicated as Sema'j is to their passion would recognize that they couldn't get this type of quality training on their own. In such a competitive industry as music and performing arts, having this advantage would definitely set Sema'j apart when he starts his career.
